It is said that the eyes are the 'Windows to the Soul' and there are so many of us who 'do not do windows'.
For those of us who do windows and also have someone in our lives who does windows,
I wrote: - I DONT DO WINDOWS, ANYMORE .....
I DONT DO WINDOWS, ANYMORE .....
Our eyes met a long, long time ago
and she smiled…..with her eyes
Eyes so clear…..as clear as windows
windows with panes
large window panes
through which I perceived HER SOUL,
a SOUL so pure…..
I YEARNED…..
I DREAMED…..
I SCHEMED…..
to be joined,
SPIRITUALLY…..
EMOTIONALLY…..
PHYSICALLY…..
with her,
I DREAMED of babies
little brown babies,
who would as they grow
look into HER eyes
THEIR eyes…..by inheritance
Our eyes met recently,
and she smiled with HER EYES…..
still quite as clear,
as those windows of yesteryear and….,
I’m so glad that SHE DOES WINDOWS
